Caliber Home Loans Defeats TRO & Preliminary Injunction in Trade Secret Matter

Defeated a motion for a temporary restraining order and preliminary injunction against three employees of Caliber Home Loans, Inc.

In July of 2021, a competitor sued Caliber and its employees in federal court in Arizona, alleging that a former employee, who now works for Caliber, breached her employment agreement and misappropriated the competitor’s “trade secrets” in connection with certain of the former employee’s clients who decided to continue to do business with her at Caliber. Caliber is a nationwide residential mortgage lender.
