Cardiac Science Secures Dismissals In Litigation Relating To Its Acquisition For More Than $300 Million

Represented Cardiac Science, Inc. and certain director defendants as lead counsel in defense of securities class actions pending in Delaware Chancery Court and Orange County Superior Court.

Based on the company’s defenses, plaintiffs dismissed their damage claims and withdrew their attempts to block our client from merging with another public company in a deal valued in excess of $300 million.

Having obtained dismissals of the cases, the shareholder vote proceeded and our client successfully merged.
