City of Salinas Issues $14 Million in Wastewater Revenue Refunding Bonds

Served as bond counsel and disclosure counsel on a $14,425,000 million bond financing secured by revenues of the wastewater system of the City of Salinas, California (Monterey County).  The bonds will refund outstanding wastewater system debt for debt service savings.  In addition, the bonds were sold on a taxable basis and without a reserve fund, thereby simplifying the wastewater system’s debt structure.
