Investment Fund Secures Jury Verdict

Obtained a jury verdict in a $24 million case awarding damages and fees to our client from an investment fund for breach of contract. Our client had invested $14 million with defendant and another plaintiff invested $10 million with defendant with the agreement that they could redeem their investments in full with 30 days notice. When defendants decided to amend the agreement and change the 30 days to 90 days and the defendant's CEO died, we sued to redeem our client's investment in full (D. Stephen Sorensen v.
