Fashion & Apparel Company Defends Auto-Renewal Class Action

Currently representing a fashion and apparel company in a putative class action lawsuit involving the company’s membership program. The company is alleged to have advertised and sold its membership program to consumers in violation of California’s Automatic Renewal Law (CA Bus. & Prof. Code § 17600 et seq.), False Advertising Law (CA Bus. & Prof. Code § 17500 et seq.), Unfair Competition Law (CA Bus. & Prof. Code § 17200 et seq.), and the Washington Consumer Protection Act (Wash. Rev. Code §§ 19.86.020, et seq.).
