Negotiated a favorable settlement for a large retailer in response to an enforcement action brought by the California Attorney General involving alleged violations of Cal. Bus. & Prof. Code § 17533.7 (Use of words “Made in U.S.A.” or similar words). The CA Attorney General alleged that the company was selling its private label skincare product in violation of California’s Made in the U.S.A. law.
