Medical Device Company Secures Favorable Settlement with the Department of Industrial Relations
Represented a start-up medical device company in connection with a lawsuit filed with the Department of Industrial Relations, Labor Commissioner’s Office, alleging various claims, including for failure to pay regular wages, failure to pay minimum wage, failure to reimburse business expenses, failure to timely pay wages at termination, and for liquidated damages and penalties, including waiting time penalties. We finalized an early settlement for less than 10% of the client’s exposure.
