Orange County Public Company Compels Arbitration in Breach of Contract Litigation

Successfully compelled arbitration (upheld on appeal) on behalf of an Orange County public company in a case filed by a U.K.-based communications company. The plaintiff was one of several patent holders from whom our client acquired exclusive licensing rights that sued our client for breach of contract and fraud, claiming that it violated its obligations by failing to share proceeds received under its multi-patent portfolio licensing agreements with several large technology companies.
