Landmark Dismissal in Wiretap Investigation

Represented one of the key defendants in a landmark securities fraud prosecution involving an extensive wiretap investigation.  We filed a motion to suppress the wiretapping evidence which led to a three-day evidentiary hearing, after which the government voluntarily dismissed the case citing its inability to rely on evidence gathered in the wiretaps. The dismissal was heralded as a landmark decision in the white collar criminal defense community.
