Major Trash and Recycling Company Secures Arbitration Victory in Employment Dispute

Stradling successfully defended a leading trash and recycling company in a complex arbitration case involving claims of discrimination, retaliation, and wrongful termination. The plaintiff sought significant damages, including compensatory and non-economic damages, as well as punitive damages and attorney’s fees.

Following a 3-day evidentiary hearing, the arbitrator ruled entirely in favor of Stradling’s client, with the plaintiff receiving nothing. The Orange County Superior Court later confirmed the arbitration award, entering judgment in favor of the client.
