Vertos Raises $27 Million in Series C Financing

Represented Vertos Medical in its Series Cventure funding in a deal led by Gilde Healthcare Partners, putting the company's pre-money valuation at $48 million. Follow on Versant Ventures and U.S. Venture Partners also participated in the round. The company will use the funds to commercialize their catheter-based technologies for the treatment of venous thromboembolism (VTE), and continue to advance clinical and technology development programs.
