Jared W. Speier is a Partner in Stradling’s Employment Law practice group.
Jared has significant experience representing employers in single plaintiff wrongful termination, discrimination, and other matters as well as large scale complex class action and PAGA lawsuits. Jared has successfully litigated and disposed of many claims whether by obtaining summary judgment or defeating class certification. Jared has extensive experience in both state and federal court, as well several arbitral forums.
In addition to representing clients in litigation, Jared acts as outside employment counsel providing assistance with handbooks, policies, wage and hour compliance, employee leaves, and employee performance management.
Jared represents clients in several industries including consumer products, financial services, medical devices, retail, logistics, and manufacturing. He takes a practical, business focused, approach to litigation and counseling matters. Jared’s extensive litigation experience guides his counseling advice so that clients can work to avoid litigation entirely.
Jared is a born and raised Santa Barbara native. He spends his free time golfing, mountain biking and exploring the outdoors with his wife and two sons.
