Kerrigan R. Bennett

Kerrigan R. Bennett is a partner in Stradling's Public Finance practice group.  He specializes in the financing of school and college facilities. He has extensive experience in school district and college district general obligation bond financings, as well as lease financings, certificates of participation, revenue bond financings, conduit issues for 501(c)(3) organizations, and other post-employment benefit bonds.

Prior to becoming an attorney, Kerrigan served for eight years as a pilot in the U.S. Navy.

Experience

Represented Rocketship Education and its affiliate, Launchpad Development Company in closing simultaneous issues of charter school revenue bonds in California, Wisconsin, and Tennessee, each underwritten by Stifel, Nicolaus & Company, Incorporated. 
The Yreka Union High School District issued its General Obligation Bonds, Election 20214, Series B, in the principal amount of $2 million to finance school facilities.
The Fairfax Elementary School District issued its General Obligation Bonds, Election 2016, Series 2017, in the principal amount of $2,500,000 million, the first series of bonds authorized by voters of the district in 2016.
