Rouz Soleymani is an associate in Stradling’s Corporate and Securities practice group. Rouz counsels private companies and financial institutions on general corporate matters, with an emphasis on emerging companies, private equity and venture fund financings, and sponsors in various corporate and debt finance transactions, as well as mergers and acquisitions. 

Prior to Stradling, Rouz was an associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (PwC). At PwC, Rouz assisted with structuring strategic cross-border and multi-jurisdictional deals, mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures as well as participated in domestic and international tax compliance projects for U.S. inbound and outbound transactions.

Prior to law school, Rouz attended the University of California, Irvine Paul Merage School of Business as a Regents Scholar and obtained a bachelor’s degree in finance. He graduated summa cum laude and received the UC Irvine Chancellor’s Award of Distinction in recognition of exceptional academic achievement as an undergraduate student. At Merage, Rouz was a founding member of the UC Irvine Entrepreneurship Association and worked with emerging companies. Committed to serving the community, Rouz is currently an Executive Board Member of the Dean’s Leadership Circle at UCI’s Paul Merage School of Business, dedicated to advancing and supporting the university, while simultaneously strengthening philanthropic efforts bridging the gap between the student body and the global business community.

Rouz is fluent in Persian (Farsi).
