Trent Benson

Trent’s practice focuses on general corporate representation and corporate transactions for both private and public companies, including mergers and acquisitions, securities offerings, venture capital financings, entity formation, corporate governance and SEC compliance.

Trent earned his J.D. from Loyola Law School with a concentration in Corporate Law. While in law school, Trent was a member of the Loyola Law School Transaction Negotiation Team and received First Honors Awards for earning the highest grade in Business Planning I: Financing the Start-Up Business and Venture Capital Financing, Mergers & Acquisitions, and Securities Regulation.

 

Experience

Represented TextPower, Inc. in its sale to ARCOS, LLC, a portfolio company of Vista Equity Partners. TextPower is a pioneer in text messaging communication services and ARCOS is a developer of mission-critical software that automates crew callout and storm management processes for electric and gas utilities
Represented K1 Speed, the world's largest indoor go-kart racing operator, in its acquisition of Autobahn/Accelerate Indoor Speedway and its 11 national locations.
Represented Xponential Fitness, Inc. (NYS: XPOF), a franchisor of health and wellness brands, in its pending acquisition of Lindora, a leading metabolic health brand. The 31 existing Lindora clinics will transform into franchise locations. Xponential is set to acquire the complete intellectual property of Lindora and has intentions to franchise the brand on a global and national scale.
